You come to the studio. It's just you and me — no other brides, no audience, no time pressure. We talk. About your wedding, your venue, your comfort zone, what excites you and what doesn't. You don't need to arrive with a vision, a Pinterest board, or any idea at all. Some brides bring a folder of references. Some bring nothing but a feeling. Both are equally useful. We'll explore shapes and silhouettes using studio pieces — not to find "the dress" but to discover what works on your body. What proportions feel right. What necklines suit you. What makes you stand differently in front of the mirror. By the end, you'll have something you might not have had before: a direction. You leave with clarity. You don't leave with a bill.

Timeline: within 1–2 weeks of your consultation

After your appointment, I put together a design proposal based on everything we discussed — the shape, the mood, the fabrics, the structure, and a clear investment quote. This arrives by email. You review it in your own time. There's no follow-up call, no pressure to decide quickly. You sit with it, talk to your partner, sleep on it. If you want changes, we refine. If you want to explore a different direction entirely, we do that too. This stage is collaborative — you're not signing off on something I've decided. You're approving something we've shaped together. Nothing is committed until you're ready.

Timeline: varies by design

Once you've approved the design and placed your deposit, production begins with our master ateliers.

Your piece is constructed from scratch — pattern, cut, structure, hand-finishing. There is no template pulled from a shelf. Every seam, every dart, every detail is built for your body and your design.

Depending on the complexity of your design, a toile — a prototype version of your piece — may be created first so we can check shape, proportion, and fit before the final fabric is cut. Not every design requires a toile, but for more structural or intricate pieces it's an important stage.

Throughout production, you'll receive updates by WhatsApp or email — progress photos, fabric shots, construction details — so you're never left wondering what's happening with your dress. You'll see it evolve in real time, even though it's being made by specialist hands outside of Ireland.

Typically 2–3 fittings in studio

When your piece arrives at the studio, you'll come in for a fitting. This is where the design comes alive on your body — and where we refine every detail until it's perfect.

This might mean minor adjustments to drape, hemline, or structure. We don't rush this. The piece isn't finished until you feel completely right in it.

For some brides this is a single fitting. For more complex designs it may be two. We'll confirm what to expect based on your specific piece.

Collected from studio, typically 2–4 weeks before your wedding

Your finished look is pressed, packaged, and ready for collection. We'll do a final check together in the studio, go through how to care for and store it before the wedding, and make sure everything is exactly as it should be. Then it's yours. One piece, made once, for one person.
