You do not need to arrive with a finished idea. We work through shapes and silhouettes and try on different pieces to see what works on your body. No decision is required on the day.

From the first conversation to the final fitting, every detail is considered with care.
The design proposal
Following your appointment, you receive a written proposal outlining the design direction, details and investment. No decision is required on the day.
Approval
If you choose to proceed, a 50% booking fee confirms your commission and begins the design and production process.
Design and creation
Your piece is designed by Mags Morgan in Dublin and developed with specialist production partners selected for their expertise. A toile or prototype allows the shape, proportion and construction to be reviewed before the final piece is completed.
Fittings and collection
The finished piece arrives at the Mizz Rio studio for fittings, alterations and finishing before collection.

What happens when you walk through the door
Your appointment begins with a conversation about your wedding, your personal style, what you have already seen and how you want to feel.
You will try original Mizz Rio pieces and explore different silhouettes, proportions, fabrics and design details. Some brides find an existing design they love. Others customise a Mizz Rio original or use the appointment to begin a completely new design.
The purpose of the appointment is to give you clarity and a clear direction. You are not expected to make a decision on the day.

DO I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I WANT BEFORE I BOOK?
No. Many Mizz Rio brides arrive with a few references, individual details or simply a clear idea of what they do not want. The consultation turns that starting point into a clear direction.
WILL I TRY THINGS ON?
Yes. The studio contains finished Mizz Rio gowns, corsets, skirts, trousers, tailoring, separates, capes and veils. These pieces allow you to explore silhouettes, fabrics, structure and movement.
WHEN DO I HAVE TO DECIDE?
No decision is required during the appointment. A written Design Proposal is sent afterwards so you can consider the design and investment in your own time.

Mizz Rio bridal designs begin from €2,000. The final investment depends on the design, fabric, construction and level of detail. A clear quote is provided before commissioning.
